Synopsis

From the novel by Craig Davidson, author of Rust and Bone. Two young men from different backgrounds find their destinies linked when they meet up in the world of illegal bare-knuckle fighting. Paul is the son of a wealthy winery owner, who takes up boxing after being on the receiving end of a vicious beating in a dive bar when he talked to the wrong woman. Rob meanwhile is from the wrong side  of the tracks and sees the brutality of the ring as his only way out of his smalltown existence. Following a family tragedy Rob is pulled into Paul's self-destructive orbit and an ineivitable showdown.
