Synopsis

A young German officer, Oskar, unexpectedly finds his life threatened by the outbreak of World War II. With Europe reeling from the full devastation of Hitler's might, Oskar and his girlfriend find themselves torn apart by the violent village massacres that spread like a plague across the country.
