Synopsis

The Fallen is a dramatic and gritty World War II drama the recounts the conflict through the eyes of an ill-fated unit of German soldiers, their dishevelled Italian allies, and an American supply group towards the end of the war.
Shot on location in Italy and Germany, the film boasts a unique cinematic style that evokes the feeling of authentic newsreel footage of the time. In portraying the differences in values, morals and patriotism found between the various warring factions, while exploring the human similarities found in soldiers from all sides, the film exposes both the horror and the humanity of war.
